Benny's Birthday

We celebrated Benny's birthday today. Benny enjoyed opening his gifts and each gift was "exactly what he wanted!" In addition to the presents and cake, we enjoyed way too much pizza, some bowling on the Wii and a game of family style Texas Hold Em. Grammy Cook was the surprise card shark but Grandpa ended up a close second.

Jacob Plays Goalie!

Jacob had his first shot at playing goalie for his hockey team. He made some great saves and showed some good skills but his team was a bit sluggish today and they did not get the win. Grandpa and Mr. Lewis came out to cheer Jacob on despite the unexpected snow storm this morning.

Saturday at the Snow's

The boys went to Toys R Us today to spend their Christmas gift cards. Jacob selected a Bionicle and Benny picked out a Star Wars ship. Later, Mr. Lewis came over and a few hands of poker were played before George and Mr. Lewis headed out to the UNH hockey game. Mr. Lewis (with help from Benny) won the poker game and took all of George's chips in a fatal "all in" situation.

The LEGO Ship

Jacob had been a bit under the weather so he stayed home from school to rest and recuperate. Part of his recovery included building this new Lego ship. (As Jacob tells me - building Legos involves sitting down and this helps you get better!)

Rocking out to Guitar Hero!

We took a break before starting homework tonight and rocked out a bit to the Guitar Hero video game. Ben played along with his light sabre. Jacob finished his first song but as always, George had the best performance and was a rock legend!

A Day for Hockey

It was a day of hockey for the Snow family. We started out with Jacob's game early in the morning. It was a close game and Jacob put forth a great effort but alas his team lost 3 - 1. In the afternoon we then went to a UNH hockey game. Brendan, Jacob's buddy, joined us. Benny assumed his normal position at the game - asleep on my lap. As usual, Jacob and Brendan acted like goofballs. UNH ended up losing, but we saw some good hockey!

Ringing in the New Year!

Here are pictures from New Year's Eve at the LeClerc's house. Natalie and Jacob were very excited to ring in the new year (until Jacob fell asleep on the couch). Ben and Ryan enjoyed the sleep over. George, as always, was the life of the party!

Happy New Year!

Happy New Year from the Snow Family. We spent New Year's Eve with the LeClerc family in Stratham. Benny was in bed by 8:30 pm and Jacob fell asleep on the couch by 9:30 pm. The adults lasted until 12:02 am! We are a wild bunch!
