Jackie tries her best!

And here is my jump.  Delicate flower?  Ladylike?  No!

And here is Jacob on the jump at the sledding hill:

Snow Day 2 - Benny Gets Air

The kids and George had another snow day!  UNH made us go in but sent us home at 1:00 pm.

Benny wanted to go sledding so we headed to our favorite spot in Epping (just down the road from our house).  There was a jump on the hill and the boys and I took turns at hitting the jump.  We took some videos of the action.

There goes Benny!

Snow Day!

We had our first snow day of the season.  Even UNH closed today!  George made pancakes for us - chocolate chip for the kids and blueberry/strawberry ones for me.

After lunch we headed out to go sledding.  The storm had died down a bit by then, but the snow was still falling and it was pretty windy.  We took out our new toboggan and hit the hills at a local farm in Epping.

I am not so good at riding in a toboggan.  I finally figured out how to balance my weight and sit right to avoid George's scolding.

Here are some pictures:

My personal chef.

It snowed, it snowed...

Here we go!

Down they go.

Down, down, down.

Jacob, the mighty sledder!

Up.

Up, up...

Up they go.

Down.

Down.

Down they went.

Sledding is hard!

Welcome 2011!

The Snow family welcomed the New Year in style.  Well, as much "style" as we could handle!

Our NJ relatives came to visit and we had fun with Aunt Joanie, Uncle Tony and Danny.  We spent New Year's Eve with our friends, the LeClerc's, and had our traditional Chinese take-out meal!  It only took 2 1/2 hours to get our Chinese food.  The take out order was supposed to be ready in 90 minutes.  When George and Mike went at the allotted time to pick up our order they had to wait another hour!  The food and the company was great and worth the wait.  Here are some pictures:

George said something unpleasant to me in this shot!

The 2.5 hour Chinese take-out order.

George went for a ride on New Year's Day!

There he goes...

Ben celebrated in style too!

The Gingerbread Houses come down on New Years too.

Jacob won our New Year's Day Poker tournament.  He was the bracelet winner!
